Amber (pretty girl pictured in the basket on the right) got out tonight when a whirlwind of kids managed to leave the screen door open. She’s an indoor only cat and I hope she can find her way home again by morning…
Please cross fingers for us and her. I’m desperately trying to “keep it together” so the kids don’t freak out. But damn its hard.

Sorry to hear about kitty’s escape. I hope she returns soon. I have two indoor cats (declawed) and both have escaped and made it back unscathed (either on their own or through the SPCA). I hope the same happens to you.
Actually, I seem to recall a really great story Renee had around Christmas about a runaway and the massive cost of bail at the SPCA jail! Lucky you to have found her on your own!
