I did it!

I bought (actually leased) a new car!

I picked up my brand spankin’ new black Vibe from the dealership last night. My fiber can now travel in air conditioned, fuel-efficient comfort!

I haven’t had time to explore the car much seeing as how work is kicking my ass from here to far away and back but I am heading to Toronto Thursday night with the lad for the weekend and that should give me plenty of time to make friends.

I’ll be back to blogging when I get back – supposing I survive Canada’s Wonderland with an 8-year-old.

A quick conversational snippet…

Madeline: If you were a superhero, what power would you have.
Alex: Super strength!!
Madeline: I would have ALL of them.
Alex: Mommy, what superpower would you have?
Me: Fast knitting.
What did we learn from this? Alex is all boy. I am obsessed. Madeline is way smarter than the rest of us.
